NFL Draft Tonight

From Left: Trent Richardson, Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck and Justin Blackmon
The NFL Draft begins tonight at 8pm. The Indianapolis Colts have the number one pick and they have confirmed that they will pick Andrew Luck with the first pick. That makes Robert Griffin a lock at number two going to the Washington Redskins. In years past, when two quarterbacks are drafted at #1 and #2, one of those QB's has a successful career. The other...not so much. This year I believe will be an exception. Both Andrew Luck and RG3 will have successful careers. RG3 will translate into wins faster than Luck. Only because he will have more weapons to work with. The Colts are starting over completely, so wins will be hard to come by. Luck and Griffin are not the only two players in the draft. RB Trent Richardson and WR Justin Blackmon are the other marquee names in the draft. For my Detroit people: The Lions have the 23rd pick and have a need at CB. A name I here out there is Janoris Jenkins from North Alabama State. He once played at the University of Florida but was dismissed from the team. Analysis say that he is supremely talented but he has MAJOR character issues. The Lions do not need another bad character guy....but we do need a corner...
